Do you use an alias on the internet?

Postby Dartz on Sun May 18, 2008 6:41 pm

Only a small circle of friends know my real name and where I live. As far as everyone else is concerned, my initials are RD, I currently reside in Nevada (according to the fake zip code I give out), was born on the 19th of August 1988, and I was born in England.

Every last bit of that is a filthy black lie. But I prefer my identity to be quite secret.

Speaking of zip codes, why do a few places you sign up for ask for it? Why is my zip code any of your damn business?

Usually zip codes aren't required, but they certainly ask for them. Not exactly sure the purpose, I've never needed anybodies zip code for my websites.

All of the information about myself is correct -

Age
Name
Location

Except one minor detail, and that is my surname. As far as anybody online is concerned; I am Malakai Gonzalez, however, I am not.
I am Malakai ?????????.
I feel just protecting my surname is enough to eliminate the possibility of being identified: This is simply because without my full name - no one can use anything against me, and they certainly can't track me.

Your first name is Malakai? That's an unusual one, where you from?

The information about me is correct but I always like to use different Alias when I’m online so it will be hard to trace. I don’t think that giving those information like name, age must not be true because they don’t really know who I am. All they know is the information I’m giving and I don’t include my true picture. When you see me on the street you won’t even know that it was me.

There are alot of predators out there ready to get to you or your finances at any time. do you ever get tired of worrying about your child being on the internet? :D There doesnt seem to be enough online security on the web. My 16 year old niece is always getting advances from predators and it doesnt seem to matter what site she is on. Its up to us to make a difference. I have found one program that helps alot but it takes the parents along with the programs to really keep our children away from these predators.I have one of the online securities downloaded on my computer. heres the link if you want it. http://www.onlinesecurityauthority.com
