There are enough horror stories....

We have heard so many horror stories about kidnappings and rapes because our children are giving away too much information online. I think it is time that we share stories and information with each other about how we can keep our children safe, and also to help warn each other of new tactics and scams that predators are using to convince children to meet and give them information. This is our opportunity to form friendships and partnerships with each other to help keep children safe!

I agree. It's absolutely horrible what happens these days because of predators and information abuse. But there are sections on this site that will help everyone to deter it from happening, so I'm alright with the occasional horror story.

As long as the main focus is prevention it's all good. It's never bad to learn from someone else's situation.

To be added up to the woes, recently i heard a story on the television that a teen age girl was kidnapped by two people and raped them. The girl was seduced. By watching porn movies she had the quest to have sex and so she was easily seduced which ultimately resulted in a very bad sequence.Now the girl has lost her life for ever. In most of the cases such girls would be murdered in a very cruel way.

We should educate the children on what internet can do on them. They must not give any information about themselves online because the web is full of those bad elements trying to get the upper hand on our kids.
